Common Questions

How do I change a job’s start date without opening a form?

On the Retail Jobs or Service/Warranty pages, click directly on the start date cell. It will switch to an inline date picker. Pick a new date and click away – the change will save and the schedule view will stay in place.

What does the PP Needed “Decision Needed / Yes / No” bubble mean?

PP Needed is a tri-state field. Decision Needed means no decision has been logged yet. Yes means a pre-production meeting is required. No means PP is not required for this job.

How is the expected end date calculated for jobs?

The system uses hours sold, crew history, and workdays to estimate job duration in days. Extended projects fall back to manual end dates. This logic mirrors the AppSheet setup you already use, but runs in the API for the web app.

What does Super User mode actually do?

Super User mode is currently a visual toggle and will be wired into role-based behavior (extra views, actions, and settings). Only gordie.brown@hproofingllc.com sees the toggle in the header. Future versions will sync this with your Users table.
